Anthony Van Laast
Award winning choreographer of theatre, film and television. His productions of Mamma Mia!, Tina:The Musical, Sister Act, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Song and Dance have been globally successful and critically acclaimed.
Anthony is currently in rehearsals for Kiss Me Kate at the Barbican London. His recent productions include: Das Falco Musical (VBW Vienna).
His productions of Bombay Dreams and Jesus Christ Superstar were performed both in London and on Broadway.
Anthony has worked extensively in America making shows in Las Vegas for Siegfried and Roy and Michael Crawford, as well as choreographing Side Show in La Jolla which subsequently transferred to Broadway.
His film productions include Mamma Mia!, Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, Beauty and the Beast, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows and Never Say Never Again in which he also made a rear appearance!
In 1999 he was awarded the MBE and in 2018 the CBE both for services to dance and choreography.
